Al Manea Supported by Tawuniya Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using our services. By using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Definition

The Extended Warranty Service is an optional service provided by Al Manea Company, allowing the customer to extend the warranty period of the product after the expiration of the original manufacturer’s warranty, in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in this document.

2. General Terms and Conditions

  • The service covers manufacturing defects that appear after the expiration of the original manufacturer’s warranty.
  • The decision to repair or replace the product shall be based solely on technical diagnosis, with the final decision approved by an authorized service technician.
  • The coverage does not include:
    • Breakage or damage resulting from misuse, negligence, or improper handling.
    • Fire, lightning, or natural disasters.
    • Faults resulting from use contrary to operating instructions.
    • Consumable parts such as batteries, filters, remote controls, and similar items.
  • Al Manea Company commits to providing original spare parts when performing repairs, in order to ensure the continuity of the manufacturer’s original warranty where applicable.
  • Al Manea Company reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time, subject to prior notice.
  • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  • The Extended Warranty Service may be obtained upon purchasing a new device from any Al Manea branch or through the official website.
  • After the manufacturer’s warranty expires, the Al Manea Warranty continues to provide certain basic warranty benefits, in addition to extra benefits as specified in these terms and conditions.
  • The customer must operate and use the device in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions to ensure the validity of coverage under this service.

3. Repeated Repair Policy

  • There is no maximum limit on the number of repair services that may be performed on the covered device during the service period, provided that all terms and conditions are complied with.
  • The customer shall not bear any additional fees during the coverage period.
  • If three identical repairs for the same defect are performed, and the authorized service center confirms that a fourth repair for the same defect is required, the device shall be replaced with a new device of the same specifications or higher, subject to product availability at the time of replacement.

4. Purchase Records and Service Ownership

  • Ownership of this service may be transferred from one customer to another, provided that the service remains linked to the same device registered under the contract. The service may not be transferred to any other device under any circumstances.
  • To obtain the service, the new owner must present all original purchase receipts and the original service contract, as these documents are mandatory to activate coverage.
  • Upon replacement of the device in accordance with the terms of this service, the coverage shall be deemed fully utilized and shall terminate immediately.

5. Warranty Period

  • The Extended Warranty Service commences immediately after the expiration of the original manufacturer’s warranty and shall be valid for one (1), two (2), or three (3) years, depending on the customer’s selected package.

6. Service Utilization Mechanism

  • The customer must submit a claim using the insurance policy number issued by Al Tawuniya Insurance Company when requesting service.
  • Inspection shall be conducted by a specialized technician during a home visit to determine the nature of the defect and whether it can be repaired on-site or requires transfer to the nearest service center.
  • If the same defect recurs three (3) times within twelve (12) months for the same reason, the customer is entitled to request replacement or compensation in accordance with company policy.
  • The service request execution period is fifteen (15) days. If this period is exceeded, the customer shall be compensated with a new device of the same specifications or higher, subject to availability at the time of replacement.
  • To benefit from the Extended Warranty Service, the customer must submit a claim through the claims page specified in the insurance policy using the policy number.
  • The duration of the warranty contract is determined according to the date stated in the warranty document and is non-renewable upon expiration.
  • The customer must take all necessary precautions on an ongoing basis to preserve the device and prevent damage.
  • The customer must provide all information and documents requested by Al Manea and Al Tawuniya to ensure proper processing of the service request.
  • Customers subscribed to additional services shall receive a response within a maximum of forty-eight (48) hours. Response time refers to the period between receipt of the service request by Al Tawuniya and the commencement of actual handling of the request.
  • Repair time shall be calculated starting from the date the device is collected from the customer’s residence.
  • If no Al Manea branch is available in the customer’s city, the customer must ship the covered device to the nearest authorized service center. In all cases, shipping costs (round trip) shall be borne by Al Manea.

7. General Exclusions

  • The warranty may not be transferred to another device.
  • Replacement is permitted only once during the entire extended warranty period.
  • The warranty becomes void if any repair or replacement is carried out by a party not authorized by Al Manea.
  • Al Manea and Al Tawuniya shall not be liable in cases where service execution is prevented due to force majeure or circumstances beyond their control.
  • Coverage does not include faults caused by misuse, including but not limited to exposure to temperatures beyond manufacturer-recommended limits or sudden voltage fluctuations.
  • Coverage does not include accessories or consumable parts such as remote controls, adapters, batteries, earphones, chargers, external cables, or similar components not considered integral parts of the device.
  • All intentional damages, including deliberate attempts to damage or tamper with the device, are excluded.
  • Coverage does not include loss or theft of the device under any circumstances.
  • Damages resulting from improper storage, inadequate maintenance, intentional negligence, or incorrect installation or setup are excluded unless otherwise approved by an authorized service center.
  • Any losses or damages already covered under the manufacturer’s warranty or supplier warranty are excluded.
  • The service shall be deemed invalid if the model number, serial number, or IMEI label has been removed, altered, damaged, defaced, obscured, or does not match the information recorded in the service contract.
  • The service does not cover consequential or indirect damages, including loss of use, loss of data, or any indirect loss of any kind.
  • Any repair or replacement performed without prior approval from Al Manea shall not be covered and shall void eligibility for the service.
  • Coverage excludes accidental or intentional damage, including broken screens, liquid spills, misuse, wear and tear resulting from normal use, serial number tampering, or defects resulting from repairs performed by unauthorized or unqualified persons.
  • The subscriber acknowledges and agrees that this service is not available for devices used for commercial purposes, multi-user organizations, or rental purposes. If such use is proven, the service shall be immediately void, and no refund or compensation shall be granted.
  • Coverage excludes any fees or expenses resulting from contracting third parties for maintenance, transportation, or other services not covered under this service.
  • Consumable materials replaced regularly during normal use, such as paper, ink, or similar items, are excluded.
  • Al Manea reserves the right to cancel the service if fraud, data manipulation, or misuse is proven, including but not limited to commercial use or unauthorized repairs.
  • Damage or defects resulting from installation carried out by non-authorized technicians are excluded.

8. Manufacturer Responsibilities

Any components or services covered under the manufacturer’s warranty remain the responsibility of the manufacturer during the original warranty period. The provision of spare parts during the execution of this service shall be the responsibility of the authorized agent within the Kingdom.

9. Cancellation and Refund

The customer is entitled to a full refund of the Extended Warranty Service fee within fourteen (14) days from the purchase date, provided that no claim has been submitted.

The warranty shall terminate immediately upon replacement of the device, and coverage shall not extend to the replacement device.

10. Limitation of Liability

Al Manea Company shall not be liable for indirect damages or loss of profits resulting from device malfunction. The maximum liability of the company shall not exceed the original purchase value of the device.
